Grace wakes up. The jar glows near the bed, filling the room with light. She knows that she and her friends are in danger but tells herself that it’s “time to live” (258).

Grace and her friends head out to Amnesia. The island is alive with sound. At the club entrance, Grace gives her name, as Lieke put her on the list.

Grace becomes immersed in the energy of the club. She’s surprised and delighted by everything she sees and feels connected to everyone there.
